KUALA LUMPUR (Jan 19): The FBM KLCI rose in early trade on Thursday, in line with the overnight gains at Wall Street and positive opening at most regional markets.
At 9.10am, the index rose 4.28 points to 1,521.66.
Gainers edged losers by 127 to 69, while 139 counters traded unchanged. Volume was 176.51 million shares valued at RM49.72 million.
Among the early gainers were United PLANTATION []s, CCM, Ekovest, Parkson, Eng Kah, DiGi, KLK, Petronas Chemicals, Top Glove and Hua Yang.
